Where the wind softens

The wind can speak loudly of separation...

The wind can speak loudly
of separation,

as if it knows
where the boundary lies
between what is
and what can no longer be together.

It pulls at forms,
pushes against words,
reveals
what lives in tension.

And for a moment
it seems as if everything
is falling apart.

As if a choice must be made
between paths
that no longer intersect.

But beneath it all
something remains still.

Not absent,
but untouched
by what shows itself above.

In the depths
life moves differently.

Without rupture.
Without struggle.

There, lines flow
back to their source,
and it becomes clear
that what seemed separated
was never truly apart.

I need not
silence the wind.

I need not
contradict her.

I let her blow
as she will,

while I remain
where it is still.

And there
it becomes clear:

the separation that sounds,
is not the truth that sustains.

For in the depths
life remains one.
