Some books do not emerge from a plan.
They arrive as a space that slowly begins to open.
Not loudly. Not forcefully.
Rather like a field waiting to be entered.

That is how Anatara came into being for me.

Not as a book I wanted to make, but as a presence that revealed itself step by step. As if silence came first, and only then the words. As if the work was not asking me to invent something, but to listen to what was already there beneath the surface.

From the very beginning, Anatara felt like a first gate.
An opening into another way of perceiving.
Slower. Softer. Deeper.

While writing, I noticed how this book did not push me forward, but instead invited me to slow down. To descend into a layer of remembrance and presence that is not built on performance, but on attunement. As if beneath ordinary life there is a quieter landscape that only reveals itself when we are willing to truly listen.

That is also the atmosphere Anatara carries for me.
A field of stillness.
A resting place of remembrance.
A soft yet unmistakable movement back toward something essential.

Perhaps that is why this book feels to me like the beginning of a greater current. Not because it already says everything, but because it opens the space in which other works could follow. Anatara was not an ending, but a first breath. A first touch. A first yes of the soul to what wished to unfold further.

That is why this work also holds a special place on my website.
Not only as a title, but as a point of origin.
As the book that opened the gate to an inner library that has continued to grow over the past year. A place where words, images and silence begin to form a landscape together.
For me, Anatara is a work of entering.
Of remembering without grasping.
Of becoming present within a space that already existed before it took form in language.
Some books do not want to convince.
They want to be received.

For me, Anatara is such a book.

A first gate.
A first field.
A first homecoming.
