Echo of the Soul

— where the whisper began

Some books are not born from a plan,
but from a first touch.
A first vibration.
A first whisper that has not yet taken fixed form,
and yet already knows it wants to be heard.
That is how Echo of the Soul came into being for me.
As my very first book, it carries the atmosphere of a
beginning. Not a beginning that claims its place loudly, but
an opening that enters softly. As if somewhere between
silence and water, a voice began to move. Not to explain
everything, but to touch something that lived deeper than
words alone.
Echo of the Soul did not arise from haste.
It grew as a listening.
As a following of what revealed itself gently.
As if the water itself carried a memory,
and as if between worlds something remained present
there,
waiting to be approached through language.
Perhaps that is also the heart of this book.
Not the search for certainty,
but the willingness to make space for what whispers.
For what cannot immediately be grasped,
and yet longs to be recognised by the heart.
For me, Echo of the Soul was therefore more than a first
publication.
It was a first opening into a way of writing
that does not arise only from thought,
but from attunement, from feeling, from receiving.
As if, while writing, I was beginning to remember
a language that lived closer to soul and silence
than to the ordinary speech of everyday life.
In that sense, this book carries something very precious for
me.
Not because it already contains everything,
but because it opened the first door.
The first movement outward
of what had long been living within.
Even now, I feel how Echo of the Soul keeps its own place
within all that came after.
As a first whisper.
As a first wave.
As a first sign that words, too, can become a bridge
between water and soul, between silence and remembrance,
between worlds.
Some first works remain a beginning.
Others remain a source as well.
For me, Echo of the Soul is both.
A first book.
A first listening.
A first echo of what the soul had been carrying all along.
