The Movement That Carries Forward

The field moves slowly, yes. But it moves.

Today you see people
rising one by one.
Not as rupture,
but as a wave.

No one remains standing all the time.
Nor should they.
To rise is not a permanent position,
but a role of remembrance
that is passed on.

Those who stand today
remember.
Those who rest tomorrow
carry.

And so the field deepens,
layer by layer,
without force.

It is true:
a new future is being shaped
for us all.
Not in straight lines,
but through movement.

And it is also true
that there is an order
that does not welcome this change,
that resists,
slows,
clings to what was.

Yet no struggle is required.
We exchange roles
to keep it bearable.
To keep it fluid.
To avoid hardening
where softness is needed.

The field moves slowly,
yes.
But it moves.
Certainly.
Toward renewal.

Even if you cannot yet see it.
Even if you cannot yet prove it.

What is passed on
is not lost.
It rests for a while,
and then moves again.

Thus the bedding remains intact.
And thus life
continues to breathe.
