Meet Me Halfway

In the middle that holds. Where nothing needs to be forced

There is a middle
that is not a compromise,
but a place of rest
where truth can breathe.
Where the thread
is neither pulled
nor released,
but passed on
with care.
Every sound is tested there.
Not against what fits,
but against what rings true.
The more honest the answer,
the purer the weave remains.
For unfinished threads
will catch.
They tug at those who come after us,
they whisper what was left undone,
they ask to be seen.
If you are not yet able
to be honest with the outer world
out of fear,
out of shame,
out of the feeling of not being enough —
then be honest first
with your inner world.
That is where transparency begins.
Not as a demand,
but as a holding ground.
What you pass on as untrue
does not wish to live on
in the hands that follow.
What you dare to carry
becomes light enough
to be passed on.
Meet me halfway.
In the middle that holds.
Where nothing needs to be forced
and everything is allowed to be true.
With love and transparency,
Evelien
